~Many Years Later~ (About 18 Years Later)

"Hey Ivan...." You continued to search every room on your shared house. Every time you passed a window, the ring on your left ring finger sparkled.
Okay.... No you two didn't officially get married, yet. However, he still remember his proposal from when you two first met; and, he put a ring on your finger as soon as you hit twenty years of age.
"Ivan..." checking the library, he wasn't there. You checked his office; then, the bedroom. Even the basement; however, he only goes down there to hide from Nataliya, and she hasn't been coming around recently. "Hey, Toris...."
Shivering he quickly turned around with a huge smile eyes closed.
"Don't worry. Ivan isn't with me. Tori-chan."
"Oh..." He stopped shaking then opened his eyes; before, closing them again as his smile formed bigger, "Yes Mrs. Branginski. How may I help you?" he asked bowing in you direction.
"No need for formality. Okay?" You said rubbing the back of your head, "And it hasn't even been made official yet. I'm still, (L/N). Until, I walk down the isle. And, who knows how long that's going to take. Right?" You started to laugh and walked over to the young man who was just  sweeping the floor.
"Yeah... But even if it isn't official yet. You are still Mr. Ivan's wife in waiting."
"Yes you are right." you paused and leaned against the island table. "Oh yeah. Have you seen my; Husband, in waiting?"
Toris looked around; before saying, "Actually. I haven't felt any evi- I-I-I! Mean. King like presences around lately. Did he go out or something?"
"I don't know. I've been looking for him all this morning. I'm worried he doesn't usually leave without telling me he's gone."
"Well I don't know."
"Oh well. Thanks anyway Tori-chan." You waved at him and exited the room. As you began to walk up stairs you heard something crash from above; sounding like it came from the attic. The only entrance to the attic was on the east side of the house; the other entrances were blocked off due to Ivan. However he never really explained why he blocked off the attic to you. Trying to make your way quickly over to the east side you tripped a few times due to the slippery socks you wore whenever in the house. When you finally made it over to the east side of the house, the attic door began to shake uncontrollably; soft whispers coming from just beyond the door.
"Come. Hereeeeeee." The voice acted as a rope pulled you towards the door as it cracked open slightly revealing a pair of glowing red eyes and what seemed  like a long braid.
You took a step forward your own eyes only watching the red orbs that stood out in the darkness.
"Closerrrrrrrrrrrrrr." The voice growled. "Nowwwwwwwww."
You blanked out completely as your feet carried you over to the hatch that continued to open wider and wider; even though your mind was blank the only thing that played in your thoughts were those glowing red eyes that drew you in like a piece of metal to a magnet. Finally, the hatch was opened far enough for the ladder to fall out for you to climb up. Your hand gently grabbed hold of the ladder and you began to slowly climb up the ladder.
"That's it. Come. Closerrrrrrrrr." A hand dark hand appeared, its  pointer finger motioning you forward. "Almost there."
The sound of foot steps could be heard coming closer and closer. Suddenly, you were forced from the ladder; falling to the ground with a loud thump, your head hitting the floor with much force. Then, the hatch to the attic slammed shut.
"(Y/N)!? What are you doing!" as your vision began to fade; you caught a glimpse of your lover scarf and worried face.
"Iva-" your eyes fluttered shut and the only thing trapped in your mind were the soft whisper of those red eyes illuminating the darkness.
I have decided to continue my other short story "Trust Me". It will now be a full going story!
So tell me what you think. Please?
