Slowly his body weakens and nothing I say or do can stop the death that was soon to consume his once powerful body. I try hard not to let tears slip through my eyes they can’t do anything to stop the process of his country that was going to be gone in a matter of days hopefully months or years, but they fall anyways at least not in front of him.
“West,” His voice was soft barely audible and he couldn’t even turn his head to face me as he spoke but on his pale face laid a smile, “Don’t *cough* worry about me…..” He stopped for a second and tried harder to turn his head towards me.
Instead I stood up and walked over to the side his face was turned to. I lightly touch his cheek, “Please Prussia. Don’t force yourself.” It made me morose to see him a once powerful nation. Die. I tried to maintain a firm composure in front of him. He always told me I looked un-awesome when I cried, but I couldn’t stop the tears from falling.
“O-oi West *Cough*….. are you cry?” He asked looking into my eyes and began to laugh a hushed laugh, “You totally look un-awesome.” He smiled and lifted his hand and put it on top of my hand that lay on his face.
“I-I-I know….” I paused and looked into his red eyes, “How am I not going to cry when my brother is dying.” I couldn’t help but let more tears fall.
“West, I’m….. Too……..” He stops and coughed up blood, “Awesome.” He whispered the last part while his grip on my hand loosened and his eyes began to dilate.
“Brother….” I shook his arm lightly, “Brother….. Brother! Prussia! Noooo! You can’t be….” I screamed and it finally hit me. He was gone now……
“Germany what’s wrong?” Italy, Japan, and Austria all ran into the room to see what I was screaming about. Their eyes landed on his lifeless figure and they all rushed over to me and puller me into a tight hug.
“It’s ok Germany.” Austria said patting me on the back as I watched the nurse close Prussia’s eyes and pull the blanket over his face.
Then something hit me again, He died to keep me alive. Ich liebe dich, bruder
